What to Expect During Your Juvéderm® Volbella™ Treatment?
Overall, the Juvéderm® Volbella™ treatment process is pretty straightforward. Your appointment will begin with your injector cleansing the treatment area and applying a topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort. Then, Juvéderm® Volbella™ will be artfully injected using a small needle into or around the lips. Typically, this treatment is fairly quick and takes between15-20 minutes to complete.
Juvéderm® Volbella™ Results
Common, temporary side effects include tenderness, swelling, bruising, redness, and itching at the injection site. However, these effects should fade within a week, and makeup can be applied to camouflage bruising as it fades. There is no downtime required, though we do recommend avoiding strenuous exercise for 48 hours for the best possible results. Also, avoiding rubbing or poking at the treated area.
