What to Expect During your What is Restylane-L® Treatment

During your Restylane-L® appointment, we will first speak with you regarding which areas you would like to improve. We will then cleanse your skin and apply a numbing cream to make sure that you are totally comfortable during treatment. Restylane-L® will then be carefully injected into the skin with a very fine needle. Overall, treatment time will vary depending on how much correction you desire and the size of the treatment areas.

Restylane-L® Results

Following Restylane-L® injections, you may experience mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site, which will go away with time. Be sure to avoid touching or rubbing the treated area within six hours following treatment to ensure that the filler stays in the correct areas. We also recommend avoiding sun or heat exposure, alcohol consumption, and extreme exercise for up to 24 hours after treatment. While some improvement may be seen immediately after injection, you will be able to see full results over the next couple of weeks. Results can last up to six months.
