WHAT IS DIOLAZE™?
Diolaze™ is an advanced laser hair removal treatment to safely and effectively eliminate unwanted body hair. Unlike traditional hair removal methods, Diolaze™ targets the hair root, rather than offering a temporary solution. Plus, it has one of the largest treatment spot sizes, treatments fast and easy. Diolaze™ laser hair removal is effective on skin type I through VI. However, results are limited in those with blonde or red hair.

DIOLAZE™ POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Following Diolaze™ laser hair removal you will be given specific instructions to ensure optimal results. Cold compresses or aloe vera gel can be applied to the treated area to help soothe any temporary irritation, and moisturizer can also be applied. Be sure to wear sunblock for at least 4 weeks following treatment. Most people will require a minimum of 6 treatment sessions for ideal results. There is minimal downtime required following Diolaze™ treatments.

WHAT IS ELITE PLUS?
Elite Plus laser hair removal system employs two different laser wavelengths including the Alexandrite 755nm and Nd-YAG 1064nm. Following your Elite Plus treatment, you may experience mild redness and irritation in the treatment area. Cold compresses and aloe vera can be used to help decrease symptoms. Our team will provide you with specific aftercare instructions for optimal results.
You can expect to see a gradual decrease in hair thickness and the amount of hair in the treatment area. This treatment only targets hair in the active phase of growth, so multiple treatments are needed for total hair removal (6 sessions on average). There is minimal downtime required following treatment, so you can feel free to return to your regular activities.

Before your laser hair removal treatment, you must avoid plucking, waxing, or bleaching the hair for four weeks prior. You should also avoid spray tans, as well as sunburn.
Pre-treatment for diolazenAvoid any excessive sun tanning or prolonged sun exposure 4 weeks prior treatment, or use at least 30 SPF sun block.nAvoid irritant topical agents or any physical or chemical exfoliants for 2 to3 days before treatment. Shave hair with a razor ONLY 24 hours prior to your appointment and ensure that your skin is clean. No makeup, lotion, or deodorant on the day of your appointment on the treatment area. Do not use self-tanner or spray tan products for at least 2 weeks before your treatment. Avoid waxing, threading, and tweezing in the area for at least 4 weeks. Shaving with a razor is ok.
The Diolaze laser heats and destroys targeted hair follicle roots, preventing hair growth. This allows you to enjoy smoother, hair-free areas permanently.
Ideal candidates for Diolaze will have darker hair and light to medium skin. This is because the laser energy targets the pigment in the hair shaft.
After your Diolaze treatment, you may experience some mild redness or skin sensitivity. Be sure to wear sunscreen on the treated areas to protect the skin from sunburn. There is no downtime required following this treatment.
After laser hair removal, your skin will be sensitive, and treating it gently will promote healing and prevent complications. A cold compress can reduce swelling, and it is important to avoid shaving until all swelling, redness, and pain have subsided. Guard your treated skin from the sun, and follow the advice given to you by your provider including using creams as prescribed. nIn order to achieve the best results without complication, a patient should treat their skin with caution. Your provider will inform you that multiple treatments will be spaced out no closer than one month apart. Tanning is prohibited to prevent hyperpigmentation or possible burns—your skin is a wound and should be kept away from harsh environments. Additionally, avoid tanning lotions, body scrubs, or any other skincare product that was not prescribed to you. Ask your doctor before using any products on the treatment area.
While it is customary to shave 12-24 hours before laser hair removal, we understand that things get in the way. If you have forgotten to shave, the hair may block the laser from effectively targeting the follicle. This could result in a less effective laser treatment, or more direly could lead to burns and other damage. In the event you have forgotten to shave, we recommend that you reschedule your treatment.
Do not be alarmed if there is redness or bumps immediately after laser treatment. With the help of a cold compress and cream, this will fade within a matter of hours. For the first 48 hours, treated skin should be washed gently, and patted instead of rubbed. Avoid skincare products, touching the treatment area, and the sun to ensure optimal results. Once the dead hairs begin to shed, you may exfoliate to speed up the process, but consult your doctor first.
Ideally, we ask that patients wait at least 12 hours post-treatment before they shower. However, not every patient can wait this long, so we recommended a minimum wait of 6 to 8 hours before showering. Pay attention to the treatment area—if you are still experiencing irritation then it is best to hold off on showering.
