At Elite Aesthetics and Wellness, we pride ourselves on using the best products and technology on the market, which is why we use VI Peels by VI Vitality Institute. We carry the full line of VI chemical peels to address a variety of skin concerns.

VI Peel Original

A VI peel is a medium-depth chemical formula used to treat signs of aging skin, correct pigmentation issues, and improve skin texture. Created with a combination of retinol, acids, vitamins, and minerals, it aims to treat specific skin concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne and acne scarring, and more. Similarly, to other chemical peels, the VI peel works by exfoliating the skin, sloughing off dead skin cells, and stimulating the production of collagen and elastin to improve signs of skin aging.

These peels can be used on all skin types and tones, as well as many areas of the skin, including the face, eyelids, chest, hands, and back.

  • VI Peel Purify
  • VI Peel Purify Precision Plus

VI Peel Advanced

This is the perfect treatment for enhanced collagen stimulation to combat the signs of aging. This peel is 30% stronger than the basic skin-resurfacing chemical peels, making it a great fit for mature skin and those looking to address wrinkles and fine lines. It is specifically formulated to stimulate increased collagen production and rapid cell turnover for an improvement in a loss of elasticity.

The VI peel Advanced contains TCA, phenol, salicylic acid, retinoic acid, and vitamin C to achieve the following:

  • Softens rough skin texture.
  • Smooths fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Stimulates natural collagen production.
  • Penetrates mature skin for ultimate benefits.
  • Ensures fewer breakouts.

VI PRECISION PLUS PEEL

The VI Precision Plus is a blended peel that can simultaneously address multiple skin conditions such as skin discoloration, UV-induced pigmentation, sun damage, melasma, fine lines and wrinkles, and uneven skin texture.  Created with a special blend of ingredients such as TCA, phenol, salicylic acid, retinoic acid, Vitamin C, hydroquinone, and kojic acid, it is a great option to lighten and brighten the skin.

VI PURIFY PEEL

VI Purify is an extremely effective acne treatment, as it contains powerful ingredients in addition to the standard VI Peel medical synergistic blend designed to remove bacteria, promote cellular turnover, correct pigmentary issues, open clogged pores, remove toxins from the skin, and visibly lighten the sun spots.

VI PURIFY PRECISION PLUS PEEL

This is a blended treatment that can simultaneously target multiple skin conditions even on darker skin tones. VI Purify with Precision Plus addresses oily skin and acne scars. It is ideal for treating excessive oil, hormonal or adult acne, acne with hyperpigmentation, or scarring.

Candidates for VI Peels

Individuals with the following skin issues can often benefit from the VI trichloroacetic acid formula:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Skin discoloration due to sun damage.
  • Keratosis pilaris (chicken skin).
  • Acne and/or acne scarring.

While Vitality Institute medical products are suitable for all skin types and colors, those with dark skin tones should still speak with our team members to learn how to best avoid possible complications. There are some individuals who may not be good candidates for chemical peels, including those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have taken the oral acne medication isotretinoin in the past six months, or have a history of keloid scarring.

If you are interested in learning more about these treatment options and if you are a good candidate, contact our office today to schedule a consultation appointment!

The VI chemical peel I received from D’Andra exceeded all my expectations just after one treatment. There was drastic fading of my hyperpigmentation and my is skin less texturized and so smooth. I also received the Morpheus Body treatment on my abdomen to tighten loose skin and reduce stretch marks from pregnancy. I was able to see results just after one treatment. I’m so excited to continue treatment. I highly recommend Elite Aesthetics & Wellness for all your cosmetic needs!

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A VI PEEL?

During your appointment, your skin will first be cleansed to remove any oil or dirt. Then, the solution is applied, during which you may experience a tingling or numbing sensation. A second layer of the formula will also be applied, during which your skin will turn white or “frost”. This process typically takes 30 minutes to complete. About 4-6 hours later, you will wash off the outer skin layers.

VI Peel Results

Roughly three days following your VI peel, you should experience some peeling in the treated areas. To ensure the best possible outcomes, there are some steps you should follow regarding your skincare routine, including:

  • Applying the Post Peel Protectant that was given to you after your VI peel 2-4 times a day.
  • Moisturizing frequently until peeling has stopped.
  • Avoid picking at or peeling your skin while it is peeling to avoid scarring.
  • Avoid spending time in the sun when your skin is peeling, as it will be sensitive. When you do go outside, be sure to apply sunscreen.

Once your skin has stopped peeling, you will be able to enjoy the full benefits of the VI peel, including a glowing, smooth, radiant complexion! Individuals can undergo treatment as frequently as every 4-6 weeks to continue to receive the benefits.
