What is Restylane® Refyne?
Restylane® Refyne is a dermal filler created to improve the appearance of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. This hyaluronic-acid-based gel is specifically formulated using XpresHAn technology, which helps to support your natural expressions for beautiful results that don’t appear overdone.
Restylane® Refyne can be used to improve the following:
- Nasolabial folds (lines that run from the sides of the nose toward the corners of the mouth)
- Marionette lines (Lines that run from the corners of the mouth toward the chin)
Who is a Candidate for Restylane® Refyne?
Adults 21 years and older who are looking to soften their smile lines for a refreshed appearance can often benefit from Restylane® Refyne! Be sure to speak with your injector prior to treatment to discuss your health history. Individuals with a history of severe allergies, who are allergic to lidocaine, or are pregnant or breastfeeding should not undergo this treatment. A consultation appointment is the best way to determine if you are a good candidate.
What to Expect During Your Restylane® Refyne Treatment?
During your Restylane® Refyne appointment, the treatment area will first be cleansed and a topical numbing cream will be applied to keep you comfortable. Then, the Restylane® Refyne will be skillfully injected into the specified areas to soften the look of lines and wrinkles. Your injector may gently massage the area that was treated to ensure that the gel filler is distributed evenly for optimal results. Treatment is fairly quick and usually takes about 15-30 minutes to complete.
Restylane® Refyne Results
Following your Restylane® Refyne treatment, you may experience mild bruising or swelling at the injection sites, though these effects should fade with time. Makeup can be worn to camouflage any unwanted bruising while your skin heals. There is no downtime required for Restylane® Refyne filler, so you can return to your daily routine or work right after your treatment. However, we do advise that you avoid strenuous exercise and extensive sun exposure for the first 24 hours after treatment.
