Platelet-rich plasma or PRP combined with Morpheus8 radiofrequency (RF) microneedling is a great treatment option to help stimulate hair growth naturally! This is because the plasma contains growth factors and stem cells that promote tissue repair, collagen growth, and increases blood flow to your hair follicle for a fuller, thicker head of hair.
During treatment, you will begin by having your blood drawn through your arm or hand. This blood will then be placed into a device called a centrifuge, which will spin to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the blood. This PRP is collected and placed onto the scalp, and the Morpheus8 RF microneedling device is then used on this area, pushing the plasma into your skin for further penetration.
Slight redness and swelling may occur following treatment, which should disappear on its own with time. We will provide you with specific instructions regarding your aftercare for the best results.
