Dr. Zaffarkhan, or Dr. Z as his patients like to call him, is a forward-thinking, well-rounded physician. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois he graduated Cum Laude from Loyola Chicago with his degrees in computer sciences with minors in mathematics and chemistry. After working in the dotcom boom for a few (good) years, he decided something was missing; he quickly realized that he wanted to fulfill his childhood dream of becoming a doctor. So, he left his comfortable life and headed off to medical school at Midwestern University. Upon earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, he continued onto Tufts in Boston, Massachusetts and UCLA for residency, and finally a fellowship in Hawaii. After all this training, Dr. Z returned to his adoptive home state of California where he decided to stay. He worked in a large orthopedic group for many years before starting his own successful medical practice in Newport Beach California.

Being an Osteopathically trained physician, he approaches every patient with a preventative mindset evaluating the whole person.
